Drink Like a Tourist
San Francisco has hundreds of places to drink, but few can offer floor-to-ceiling windows and a panoramic view of the city. The View Lounge is such a rarity, hidden away on the top floor of the Marriott hotel (55 Fourth St.). Just go in and get on the elevator.

The atmosphere is casual enough to wear whatever you have on already, but you won’t feel out of place dressed up, either. There are also several cozy dark corner tables where you can take a date to enjoy gazing at the sparkling skyline like a tourist.
