The Roots
I began as a designer making little things for my endlessly fascinating friends... Early projects included party flyers and graphics for the bootleg mixtapes we traded in high school, which (naturally) led to freelancing on 'real' party flyers and mixtape covers in Atlanta during the late 1990s.
The 'Leave'
In 2000 I was hired during the Dot Com Boom at an affiliate marketing firm in San Francisco, and I was subsquently laid off in the Dot Com Bust the following year. While I would miss the Webvan deliveries and my custom-fitting Aeron Chair, I quickly returned to my true passion: making high-level graphic design and web applications available to musicians, artists and other creative thinkers.
The Blossom
I founded 8Petal Creative Media in 2003, now known as Cacao Media, as a design and promotional media collective to expand my work. With a global street team, and a few graphic and technical allies, I support people in communicating with clarity, integrity, and unique style.
Tech Specs
My technical skills include full mastery of hand-written HTML code, as well as proficiency in CSS, PHP, MySql, JavaScript, and Audio / Video Streaming. I work with various digital design tools and software, often using orginal photos from my extensive personal image library.

Printed materials for design clients are always printed on recycled paper with non-toxic inks. Web Hosting services are 100% carbon neutral. Local and independently owned business resources are used when possible.
